Ping's Warm Springs new fling king is back with the spicy things
We came here mainly for sweet & sour mandarin fish 松鼠桂鱼, it's really great! The deep fried sweet & sour lotus root with shrimp 糖醋藕夹 and bake ube with mozzarella cheeses are also very delicious! Overall, it's very tasty. The service is also very quick. The only thing is most of the cuinsine are spicy, there isn't many choices if you're not a big fan of spicy food.
We came here for the lunar new year celebration. One of my colleagues is from Yunnan and testified that the Yunnan food here is authentic. We ordered mint beef, which is refreshing. The clay pot rice is the best of the day. Rice cake is not bad. A little too salty and spicy. Grilled fish has a really large portion. $150 for 5 people. $30/pp. recommend for group of people.
Ping’s Bistro offers excellent Yunnan cuisine with authentic and bold flavors. I ordered a chicken appetizer and a spicy beef main course — both were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The spice level was just right, enhancing the rich taste of the dishes. Overall, a great experience for anyone who enjoys regional Chinese cuisine. Would definitely come again!
So fresh, tastes just like a home made meal! The beef with pickled cabbage, mushroom fish soup and ham fried rice were all delicious, not too heavy and we're very fragrant. Nice level of spice
After calibration, now it is as good as Fremond flagship restaurant. Less options though. Update: now it is not Hunan style but Yunnan style, still good, less spicy though.
As a Yunnan native, I can attest the food is authentic and delicious! My favorite is Stir-fried mushroom, green pepper & ham, it's almost THE taste of Yunnan cuisine. We also liked the fried pork ribs w/ naimi sauce, grilled fish, mint beef wrap, and 贡菜. Every dish was authentic and brought up memory of my hometown... Definitely come and try, you won't be disappointed!! 云南老乡毛错过~~
Wonderful dining experience with good food. I love mild spicy cuisine. Would recommend to friends and definitely would dine out there often.
